A little bit more about us ...  Below a  lovely fragment from the interview with Mary

(aka Israfel) for The DMusic Spotlight.

E.barbarella was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The daughter of a tango singer (who's music can also be heard on DM at

 Enfected Records- DMusic )

she seemed to be destined to live a musical life.

She has lived and traveled all over the world.

Vince.Christian grew up in Miami, moved to Tennessee where he eventually

formed the band Diagnosis Red.

His path led him back to Miami where he met Barbie while they were both

working at the same place.

Both have had musical childhoods.

Barbie was influenced by her father and the Latin strains of the tango.

Barbie was first recorded by her father at age two singing ABBA and the Beatles.

She got her first keyboard at age five and her first guitar at fourteen.

She recorded her first demo at the age of seventeen.

Barbie says she has always been musical and "has always dated musicians."

At one time, some people from Universal were trying to get her to

become a Latin singer. Her response? "No, dude. do you see how I dress?

(laughs) I’m a rocker. And I think I made the right decision.

I love making music with Vince. He is a musical genius!"

Vince was also influenced by his father whom he remembers as

"the coolest dude in the world"

when he would play his original Gibson guitar. Vince says that,

at age three or four, when listening to his father play

"everything seemed to make sense. Maybe I'm trying to get that back."

It's evident that their backgrounds combined with their individual talents

and a dash of fate has led to the creation of one of DMusic's best loved bands.

They are hugely popular both here and elsewhere on the internet.
